At the beginning of the year, every teacher sets class expectations around learning and behaviour. Often times this is set by the teacher and relayed to the students.
Last year, I decided to change the way these expectations were created. I used the #thinkingroutine Chalk Talk and posed 6 questions to the students:
In my role I have had the honour of working with some inspiring and influential educators from around the world, like Ron Ritchhart author of Making Thinking Visible and Trevor MacKenzie author of Dive into Inquiry.
This wonderful position has led to me supporting other teachers from all over Australia and overseas. I'm really looking forward to sharing more with you and hearing about the amazing work you are doing in your schools 🙂💜 |
