This unit focuses on digital systems and how they transmit data. Students explore different types of data, have the opportunity to learn how to interpret patterns and develop skills in visual programming. Students will further develop their knowledge and understanding of computational thinking and abstraction.
This unit of work covers NSW Science & Technology outcomes: ST2-2DP-T Design & Production selects and uses materials, tools and equipment to develop solutions for a need or opportunity ST2-3DP-T Design & Production defines problems, describes and follows algorithms to develop solutions ST2-11DI-T Digital Technologies describes how digital systems represent and transmit data |
